We study how mammalian herbivores and dispersal influence biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in boreal forest understory.
Distributed experiment
To control for influence of canopy cover on both understory plant community composition and ecosystem functioning, we will replicate this experimental study along multiple forest age gradients.
